Drag the three pieces from the tray onto the 8×8 board. Fill a full row or column and it clears. Clear lines on back-to-back moves to build a combo for bigger scores. Pieces don't rotate — it's all about where you place them. The game ends when no piece fits.
Original has no timer — take your time and read the board. Blitz gives you ten seconds per piece, so place fast or the run ends. Each mode has its own leaderboard.
You earn the skill-tier skins by passing best-score milestones; a few others unlock by watching an optional rewarded ad. Gridblitz Pro also unlocks exclusive block and board skins. There's no in-game currency — unlocks are tied to how you play or to the optional one-time Pro purchase.
No. The only ad is an optional one you can choose to watch to revive a single time after a game ends. The game is fully playable without ever watching an ad, and Gridblitz Pro makes revives ad-free.
Make sure you're signed in to Game Center in Settings → Game Center, and
that you have a network connection. Scores earned offline are submitted the next time you're
online and signed in.
Your best scores and unlocked skins are stored on your device. Deleting the app clears that local data. Leaderboard scores live with Game Center and stay tied to your Apple account.
Gridblitz is free to download and play, works offline, and has no accounts or sign-ups. Gridblitz Pro is an optional one-time purchase for exclusive cosmetics and ad-free revives.
