Answers to the most common questions about Gridblitz. If you don't find what you need, we're one email away. The leaderboard answers below cover version 2.0.0; earlier versions use Game Center.
Drag the three pieces from the tray onto the 8×8 board. Fill a full row or column and it clears. Clear lines on back-to-back moves to build a combo for bigger scores. Pieces don't rotate — it's all about where you place them. The game ends when no piece fits.
Original has no timer — take your time and read the board. Blitz gives you ten seconds per piece, so place fast or the run ends. Each mode has its own leaderboard.
You earn the skill-tier skins by passing best-score milestones; selected cosmetics unlock with optional rewarded ads. Gridblitz Pro unlocks every block and board skin immediately, with no score targets or skin ads. This applies to existing Pro owners too. There's no in-game currency.
In version 1.3.0 and later, free play includes a banner on the home screen and occasional full-screen ads between completed rounds. Longer runs count toward the next ad, but ads never interrupt a run. Rewarded ads for one revive per run and selected skins remain optional. Earlier versions offer only optional rewarded ads. Gridblitz Pro removes all ads and includes every skin and one ad-free revive per run, for both new and existing Pro owners.
Email hej@valorstudio.se with the advertiser or product name, what was inappropriate, and the approximate date and time you saw it. If convenient, include a screenshot, your app version and whether the ad appeared on Home, between rounds, or after choosing a reward. Avoid including personal information in screenshots. You can also use the ad's own information or reporting control when one is available.
Open the Gridblitz Pro panel from Home or Settings and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that bought Pro. It is a one-time purchase, with no subscription.
In version 2.0.0, finish a round with Leaderboards on in Settings > Privacy. A device-bound guest account joins automatically, with no login or email. Choose a player name; names and scores are public. Original and Blitz each have all-time and weekly boards.
In version 2.0.0, check your connection and that Leaderboards are on in Settings > Privacy. Finished rounds saved while the feature is on retry posting when you are online. Rounds finished with Leaderboards off stay local. Earlier versions require Game Center sign-in for online scores.
In version 2.0.0, turn Leaderboards off in Settings > Privacy and confirm, or choose Delete leaderboard account on the Leaderboards screen. This deletes the guest account and posted scores; local progress stays. Deletion needs a connection. If the app reports a failure, retry when online.
In version 2.0.0, tap another player's leaderboard row and choose Report name or Hide player. Report name copies the name, board, date and player identifier when available, then opens this page. Paste the report into a message and send it using the contact button below; no report is sent automatically. Hide applies on this device. Settings > Privacy > Hidden players > Show all shows them again.
Use the contact button below to request deletion of support correspondence. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month. The privacy policy describes the 90-day retention after an issue is resolved.
The update keeps your scores, skins, settings and saved round. Local progress is stored on your device; deleting the app clears that local data. Turning Leaderboards off deletes online account data while keeping local progress. Existing Pro owners keep Pro; in version 2.0.0 it includes every skin, the Customizer, no ads and one ad-free revive per round.
Gridblitz is free to download and play, works offline, and needs no login or sign-up. Version 2.0.0 creates a guest account for online leaderboards unless you turn them off. Gridblitz Pro is an optional one-time purchase that removes all ads and includes every block and board skin and one ad-free revive per run. The app shows the current price in your local currency.
